Comment with getting lost is well and easy and:
- I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
- Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
- Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.
I can show self-restraint. None of the answers were as crazy as I could have made them.
1. What movie was Arthur's favourite as a child and why?
Hmm, it would probably be The Dark Crystal. (And it isn’t anachronistic! Bonus!) As to why? It was one of those movies where getting a bunch of people to sit down and watch it all the way through wasn’t too much of a hardship.
2. What mannerism does he effect for the image of Arthur that is more for show than himself? Anything? Everything?
He really isn’t as calm and unaffected by everything as he seems. He just tends to redirect it towards more useful pursuits, or in the case of panic, for later.
He would like to add none of you are as funny/cute/surprising/etc. as you think you are though.
3. What book most influences Arthur's life and why?
You know those books that teach you how to dissemble and reassemble a bicycle? Those books. They definitely directed him down a path of taking things apart and back together again. Luckily, they work after too.
4. Where is Arthur's line that he won't cross?
Under normal circumstances several come to mind: one being that unless it’s unavoidable - keep death quick; then there’s the part where any personal loyalties will come before the rest, be it professional or national; and finally, there will always be some tasks he won’t touch – examples would be jobs that are purely interrogatory, or involved kids.
I will leave this one as open: ask for clarification on all or any points.
5. What is his deepest regret, with nothing involving Cobb in the answer :D
He does wonder sometimes, what would have happened if he’d never joined the army. It's not quite regret, more of a what if.
1) If Arthur had a legal occupation, what would it be and why?
If the job was legal and normal, he would most likely be in engineering or some kind, though he could well have ended up a mechanic, having picked up the experience from his father, and later refining the skills in the army.
Secretly, I would love for him to work in air traffic control at one of the busy airports like the LAX or some such. For they are bossy, sure of themselves, and have to be right all the time.
2) What would be Arthur's favorite TV program?
Mythbusters. He would favour the earlier seasons though.
3) Guilty pleasures? Does he have any and if so, what are they?
He does like taking things apart to put back together again. He’s never grown out of it.
Also, he likes speeding.
4) What is his preferred method of travel?
He prefers to travel by car, a product of his early childhood, along with his control tendencies. Like a roadtrip, without the actual trip part.
5) Where does Arthur like to spend his off time? Does he have off time?
He hasn’t had off time for a while now. Time off would mean his phone is shut off, and there's no one who will contact him for a while. If there's enough time, he could even go camping.
